LOS ANGELES, United States - Japan's Mao Asada fails to cleanly land an underrotated triple lutz attempt in the women's short program at the world championships at Staples Center in Los Angeles on March 27, placing third and trailing leader Kim Yu Na of South Korea by more than 10 points.
