Japan, Russia agree to take action against customs offenses
TOKYO, Japan - Japanese Prime Minister Taro Aso (R) and visiting Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin shake hands before their talks at Aso's office in Tokyo on May 12. The two countries agreed to provide each other with more customs information to crack down on smuggling of drugs, guns and goods infringing intellectual property rights.
