Skater Oda visits mausoleum of his ancestor samurai Nobunaga

KYOTO, Japan - Star figure skater Nobunari Oda visits the mausoleum of his ancestor Oda Nobunaga, a legendary samurai warrior in the 16th century, at Honnoji Temple in Kyoto's Nakagyo Ward on June 1. The skater who paid homage for the first time at the temple, where Nobunaga killed himself following a coup in 1582, said, ''I think I could hear Mr. Nobunaga tell me to do my best'' in next year's Vancouver Olympics. Nobunari is a 17th-generation descendant of Nobunaga.
