Tiananmen dissident refused entry to Macao returns to Taiwan
TAIPEI, Taiwan - Wuer Kaixi, a Chinese dissident exiled for playing a leading role in the 1989 Tiananmen pro-democracy protests, speaks to the media at Taoyuan International Airport on June 4 after returning to Taiwan from Macao. Wuer Kaixi tried to turn himself in to Chinese authorities but the Macao authorities refused him entry.
