Yakult sets Japanese record for consecutive hits
OSAKA, Japan - Yakult Swallows outfielder Yasushi Iihara hits a double to center in the fifth inning of a game against the Orix Buffaloes at Kyocera Dome on June 14, leading his club to set a Japanese baseball record by getting hits in 11 consecutive at-bats. The Swallows won 14-10.
