Tokyo Tower lit up in 5 colors in hopes to host Olympics
TOKYO, Japan - Tokyo Tower is lit up in five colors on July 4 to demonstrate the Japanese capital's hopes to host the 2016 Summer Olympic Games. It was colored in strips from the upper part in white, yellow, red, green and blue to the bottom at 7 p.m. as dusk fell, using white light instead of the original black in the Olympic rings, tower operator officials said.
