Uyghurs, Hans resume dancing together in Urumqi

URUMQI, China - People from both ethnic groups of Uyghurs and Han Chinese dance together at a park in Urumqi on July 16. The capital of northwest China's Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region appears to be recovering from riots that broke out on July 5. The violence stemmed from discord between the two ethnic groups. Nearly 200 people were killed and 1,800 others injured in the riots, making it China's worst ethnic violence in decades.
