Mercedes-Benz launches 1st imported luxury hybrid model in Japan

TOKYO, Japan - A luxury ''S-Class Hybrid Long'' sedan is released by Mercedes-Benz Japan Co., an arm of Daimler AG of Germany, in Tokyo on Sept. 3. Mercedes-Benz became the first foreign automaker to roll out an electric-gasoline model in the Japanese market.
