Dollar falls to 9-month low in Tokyo on Fujii's remarks

TOKYO, Japan - An electric board at a money market broker in Tokyo shows the U.S. dollar falling below 89 yen on Sept. 28, 2009. The dollar fell to the lower 88 yen level, a nine-month low, in the morning on continued yen buying after Japan's finance minister showed a negative stance on intervention to stem the Japanese currency's strength.
