Bilateral FTA may help Japan: Swiss vice president

TOKYO, Japan - Visiting Swiss Vice President Doris Leuthard speaks during an interview with Kyodo News in Tokyo on Oct. 6, 2009. Leuthard said the free trade agreement recently enforced between Switzerland and Japan is expected to help Tokyo ease any unfavorable impact from the lengthy process it has been involved in for concluding a similar accord with the European Union.
