H. Matsui 1-for-3 as Yankees move on to ALCS
MINNEAPOLIS, United States - New York Yankees designated hitter Hideki Matsui sends a single to center in the fifth inning in a game against the Minnesota Twins at Metro Dome in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in the division series of the American League Championship Series on Oct. 11. Matsui went 1-for-3 with a walk as the New York Yankees swept with a 4-1 win to advance to their first ALCS since 2004.
