Takahashi files for free agency to play in MLB

TOKYO, Japan - Yomiuri Giants left-hander Hisanori Takahashi speaks at a news conference in Tokyo on Nov. 17, 2009, after filing for free agency to play in Major League Baseball. Takahashi said he had been interested in MLB for three years and wants to play as a starter.
