Japan's Kitajima elected IOM council chairman
TOKYO, Japan - This undated file photo shows Shinichi Kitajima, Japanese ambassador to Geneva-based international organizations, who was elected rotating chairman of the Council of the International Organization for Migration on Nov. 23, 2009. Kitajima became the first Japanese chosen for the post since the country joined the Geneva-based body in 1993.
