U.S. envoy meets with Okinawa governor

NAHA, Japan - U.S. Ambassador to Japan John Roos (L) meets with Okinawa Gov. Hirokazu Nakaima at the prefectural government building in Naha on Nov. 30, 2009. Roos visited the southernmost prefecture, the only inhabited area of Japan where ground battles took place during World War II, for the first time since assuming his post in August.
