Hatoyama aims to pass budget through parliament
TOKYO, Japan - Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama leaves his official residence in Tokyo on Jan. 18, prior to the commencement of the ordinary session of parliament. While his government aims to get key budgets through the Diet early, the opposition bloc is set to attack Hatoyama and his right-hand man Ichiro Ozawa over a series of money scandals in which they are embroiled.
