Anti-U.S. base Inamine wins Nago mayoral election
NAGO, Japan - Susumu Inamine (R), a candidate for the mayoral election in Nago, Okinawa Prefecture, and his wife Ritsuko cast their ballots at a polling station on Jan. 24, 2010. Inamine, who opposes the construction of a new U.S. base in the city in line with a relocation plan for the Marine Corps' Futemma Air Station, beat the incumbent.
