'Kuidaore Taro' calls for blood donations in Osaka

OSAKA, Japan - Mechanical drummer Kuidaore Taro solicits blood donation from passing pedestrians near JR Osaka Station in Osaka on Jan. 26, 2010. The local Red Cross Society's blood center used the figure, a symbol of Osaka's Dotonbori area famous for its theaters, shops and restaurants, as part of efforts to boost its blood donation campaign.
