Takanohana elected to JSA board
TOKYO, Japan - Sumo stable master and former yokozuna (grand champion) Takanohana casts his ballot to elect the 10 directors of the Japan Sumo Association at Tokyo's Ryogoku Kokugikan on Feb. 1, 2010. Reform-minded Takanohana, who was among the 11 candidates running in the governing body's first board election in eight years, was elected to the board.
