Hatoyama says his comments did not affect probe on Ozawa case
TOKYO, Japan - Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama speaks during a plenary session of the House of Councillors in Tokyo on Feb. 2, 2010. In response to questions by the Liberal Democratic Party's Shuzen Tanigawa, Hatoyama reiterated that his remarks urging Democratic Party of Japan Secretary General Ichiro Ozawa to fight against allegations related to a funds scandal did not intend to nor did they influence the prosecutors' investigation.
