Indicted ex-Ozawa aide Ishikawa to leave DPJ, but remain in Diet
OBIHIRO, Japan - Tomohiro Ishikawa (L), a Democratic Party of Japan lawmaker and former aide to DPJ Secretary General Ichiro Ozawa, attends a news conference in Obihiro in Hokkaido, Japan, where his constituency is located, after submitting his resignation letter to leave the ruling party on Feb. 11, 2010. The letter was accepted by the party the same day following his indictment over funding irregularities in connection with a Tokyo land deal involving Ozawa's fund management body.
