Prosecutors apologize to man wrongly convicted of 1990 murder
UTSUNOMIYA, Japan - Toshikazu Sugaya, who was jailed for 17 years until last June over the 1990 murder of a 4-year-old girl before a fresh DNA test proved his innocence, speaks during a news conference at the Tochigi prefectural government building in Utsunomiya on Feb. 12, 2010, after the sixth session of his retrial at the Utsunomiya District Court. Prosecutors apologized in court for making Sugaya serve time in prison.
