Court declares last year's election unconstitutional

FUKUOKA, Japan - People hold up a banner calling for equal value for each vote in front of the Fukuoka High Court on March 12, 2010, after the court ruled the general election in August 2009 unconstitutional due to a sharp disparity in the value of each vote. The court became the third high court to rule the House of Representatives election unconstitutional.
