Japan carmakers, TEPCO to spread charging technology for EVs

TOKYO, Japan - Senior officials of four Japanese automakers and Tokyo Electric Power Co. pose for photos at an inaugural general meeting of ''CHAdeMO,'' an association to promote the use of rapid chargers for electric vehicles, in Tokyo on March 15, 2010.
