Pro-Thaksin protesters collect blood to target Gov't House
BANGKOK, Thailand - A Buddhist monk donates blood in Bangkok on Mary 16, 2010, as medical volunteers started collecting blood from antigovernment protesters. Leaders of the protesters, who call themselves the United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship (UDD), and consist largely of supporters of ousted Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra, have vowed to draw 1,000 liters of blood from supporters to spill at Government House.
