FY 2010 budget clears Diet

TOKYO, Japan - Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama (R) and Finance Minister Naoto Kan bow after the House of Councillors approved a fiscal 2010 budget March 24, 2010. The passage of the upper chamber meant final endorsement by parliament of the record 92.3 trillion yen budget.
