Fisheries minister visits Isahaya Bay

ISAHAYA, Japan - Local people mount a rally in Isahaya, Nagasaki Prefecture, on April 15, 2010, protesting against a government plan to open gates on a dike that prevents seawater from mixing with freshwater in Isahaya Bay. The demonstrators, holding a banner part of which reads ''Opposition,'' held the rally as fisheries minister Hirotaka Akamatsu visited the site of a controversial reclamation project in the bay.
