Shinoyama indicted over outdoor nude photo session

TOKYO, Japan - Prosecutors on May 20, 2010 filed a summary indictment against photographer Kishin Shinoyama (file photo) on charges of public indecency and blasphemy for shooting nude photos in a Tokyo cemetery. According to the indictment, Shinoyama, 69, took obscene photographs at Aoyama Cemetery in Tokyo's Minato Ward on the night of Oct. 15, 2008 and thus disrespected the sanctity of the site.

Police also raided the office in Tokyo of a talent agency that represents one of the two models to appear in the book, a 21-year-old actress.
