Heavy rain hits western Japan, leaving 3 dead, 2 others missing
FUKUOKA, Japan - The Shimozakai district in the city of Nogata, Fukuoka Prefecture, is flooded on July 14, 2010, as torrential rain hits western Japan. Evacuation advisories were issued to around 125,000 people in Fukuoka and Saga prefectures in northern Kyushu, including some places that recorded over 100 millimeters of rain per hour.
