People remember 1985 JAL crash victims in Gunma Pref.
UENO, Japan - People release paper lanterns on a river in the village of Ueno, Gunma Prefecture, in memory of the 1985 Japan Airlines jumbo jet crash victims and prayed for the safety of air transportation on Aug. 11, 2010, the eve of the memorial ceremony. All but four of the 524 passengers and crew members aboard were killed in the world's worst single-aircraft accident.
