Bioplastic made from nutshells
TOKYO, Japan - NEC Corp. unveils bioplastic made by bonding cardanol, a primary component of cashew nut shells, and cellulose, a main component of plant stems, in Tokyo on Aug. 25, 2010. NEC is aiming for the commercialization of the product by fiscal 2013.
