Conductor Ozawa makes brief comeback at concert
MATSUMOTO, Japan - Seiji Ozawa conducts the Saito Kinen Orchestra in the opening movement of the ''Serenade for Strings'' by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky in Matsumoto, Nagano Prefecture, on Sept. 5, 2010. Ozawa, who made his first concert appearance since December while undergoing treatment for esophageal cancer, apologized for cutting back on concert appearances due to the intensification of his back pain.
