PM Kan takes to streets as DPJ leadership vote nears
TOKYO, Japan - Japanese Prime Minister Naoto Kan (C) speaks in front of JR Yurakucho Station in Tokyo with government revitalization minister Renho (L) and welfare minister Akira Nagatsuma (R) on Sept. 11, 2010, ahead of the ruling Democratic Party of Japan leadership election on Sept. 14, 2010. Kan called for party unity and alluded to his opponent former DPJ Secretary General Ichiro Ozawa's wheeling-and-dealing style of politics.
