China prods Japan to release ship captain
BEIJING, China - Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Jiang Yu speaks during a news conference on Sept. 21, 2010, in Beijing, urging Japan to ''immediately and unconditionally'' release the skipper of a Chinese fishing boat that collided with Japan Coast Guard ships near the disputed Senkaku Islands, called the Diaoyu Islands in China, in the East China Sea.
