Sharp's new multifunction tablets

TOKYO, Japan - Presenters show Sharp Corp.'s new multifunction touch-screen tablet computers, dubbed GALAPAGOS, in Tokyo on Sept. 27, 2010, which are scheduled to hit the market in December. Available in two models, the tablets will allow users to subscribe to newspapers and magazines, and purchase electronic books, with a total of 30,000 titles available at launch, the Japanese electronics company said.
