Keidanren asks gov't to ensure rare earths supply
TOKYO, Japan - Akihiro Ohata, minister of economy, trade and industry, speaks at a policy meeting in Tokyo with the Japan Business Federation, better known as Nippon Keidanren, on Sept. 30, 2010. The group asked the government to ensure a stable supply of rare earth minerals after imports from China stalled recently amid heightened tensions between the two countries.
