FUKUSHIMA, Japan - Cars begin running again on snowy Route 49 in the town of Nishiaizu in Fukushima Prefecture, northeastern Japan, on Dec. 27, 2010. The road was closed for some 33 hours after an accident stranded hundreds of vehicles.
