Toyota subsidiary's plant starts operation in Miyagi Pref.

SENDAI, Japan - Photo taken Jan. 6, 2011, shows a new plant of Central Motor Co., a subsidiary of Toyota Motor Corp., in the village of Ohira, Miyagi Prefecture, which began operation the same day. The plant is expected to serve as a core assembly unit in the Tohoku region where Toyota is consolidating its resources as its third domestic production base.
