Redress for acquitted man

UTSUNOMIYA, Japan - Toshikazu Sugaya (C), who was acquitted in a retrial for a 1990 murder, walks into the Utsunomiya District Court in Tochigi Prefecture on Jan. 13, 2011. The court told him the same day that he will receive around 80 million yen in compensation for his wrongful conviction, the amount that he had requested.
