Sumo match-fixing scandal
TOKYO, Japan - Stablemaster Kokonoe, former grand champion Chiyonofuji, heads to the Japan Sumo Association's emergency board meeting in Tokyo on Feb. 2, 2011, after it was reported the same day that text messages implying that wrestlers have routinely bought and sold their wins for several hundred thousand yen per bout were found on several sumo wrestlers' cellphones confiscated by the police.
