Astronaut Wakata to be 1st Japanese captain of ISS
TOKYO, Japan - Japanese astronaut Koichi Wakata speaks in a teleconference telecast from Houston, Texas, at the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency's Tokyo office on Feb. 17, 2011. Wakata will stay at the International Space Station for six months starting at the end of 2013 and will serve as the first Japanese captain of the ISS in the last two months of the mission.
