Quake aftermath in Japan
MINAMISANRIKU, Japan - A commemorative signboard indicating the height of a tsunami, 2.8 meters, which struck the area following the earthquake in Chile in 1960, is left in the rubble in the town of Minamisanriku, Miyagi Prefecture, northeastern Japan, on March 17, 2011. The area was hit again by tsunami, estimated at over 10 meters high, following the historic earthquake that hit northeastern Japan on March 11, 2011.
