Interfaith service for Japan at Washington cathedral
WASHINGTON, United States - ''A Prayer for Japan,'' an interfaith service, is held at Washington National Cathedral in Washington on April 11, 2011, one month after the devastating earthquake and tsunami struck Japan. Representatives of Buddhist, Shinto, Christian, Hindu, Muslim and Jewish faiths, as well as Ichiro Fujisaki, Japanese ambassador to the United States, attended the event to pray for victims and survivors of the disaster.
