Carter leaves N. Korea
PYONGYANG, North Korea - Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter waves before leaving Pyongyang for Seoul on April 28, 2011. Carter, along with three former European leaders, visited North Korea as part of efforts to reduce tensions on the Korean Peninsula, restart the six-party talks on Pyongyang's denuclearization and alleviate food shortages in the country.
