Quake-hit residents wish to rebuild homes in scenic area

SENDAI, Japan - Photo shows the tsunami-hit picturesque Matsushima area in Miyagi Prefecture on April 29, 2011. The residents of the area, whose homes were swept away by the March 11 quake-induced tsunami, will likely be allowed to rebuild their homes in the otherwise restricted area to preserve the landscape, authorities said.
