Renewable energy could meet 77% of global supply
TOKYO, Japan - File photo shows a wind power station of Electric Power Development Co. (J-Power) in Koriyama, Fukushima Prefecture. A U.N. panel on climate change said in a report on May 9, 2011, that 77 percent of the world's energy supply could be met by renewable energy by 2050 if backed by the right public policies.
