Thousands of number plates used as burial markers
ISHINOMAKI, Japan - Thousands of plates bearing different numbers are prepared for use as burial markers in the city of Ishinomaki, Miyagi Prefecture, on May 12, 2011, where around 5,700 people were killed or remained missing as a result of the massive March 11 earthquake and tsunami.
