Police collect DNA from kin of quake missing
ISHINOMAKI, Japan - Tools to collect DNA samples are laid out on the table at a venue in Ishinomaki, Miyagi Prefecture, on May 13, 2011. Police in disaster-hit Fukushima, Iwate and Miyagi prefectures began collecting the same day DNA samples from relatives of people who have been missing since the March 11 earthquake and tsunami, in a bid to compile a database to speed up their identification.
