Oze opens for season
FUKUSHIMA, Japan - A Shinto priest (front) prays for the safety of visitors during a ceremony to mark the beginning of the climbing season in the Oze National Park at a trail starting point in the village of Hinoemata, Fukushima Prefecture, on May 24, 2011. There has been concern that Tokyo Electric Power Co., which owns some 40 percent of the land in the national park, may sell its property there to finance huge compensation payments following the nuclear crisis at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station.
