Great Kanto Earthquake documents donated by U.S. Embassy

YOKOHAMA, Japan - U.S. Deputy Chief of Mission Jim Zumwalt (R) hands historical documents to Kazuo Ueyama, chief of the Yokohama Archives of History, in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, on May 27, 2011. The documents are about the 1923 Great Kanto Earthquake which struck the Kanto region centering on Tokyo recorded by U.S. missionary Clara Loomis.
