Fukushima city launches solar power plant

The city began work on a solar power plant the same day using a $250,000 donation from a U.S. foundation led by Musk, the founder of the online settlement service PayPal. The city is about 40 kilometers north of the crippled Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant.
